General Questions about Online Watercolor Classes :

When are the online classes?

Whenever you want! All my classes are pre-recorded and you have lifetime access to them! You can watch them whenever you want, as often as you want, f.o.r.e.v.e.r.!

How much do the online classes cost?

Classes are sold individually for $19.99 each. In response to popular demand, I created a bundle of 3 classes for $40 which allows you to choose 3 projects for the price of 2! You can customize your bundle of 3 classes and mix different levels (beginner, intermediate) when choosing the classes in your bundle of 3 classes for $40.

Are supplies included in the price of the class?

No, that would really be too good to be true, haha! 😂

That said, you can shop for supplies on my website and find everything you need.
Starting at $99, the starter kit includes all the supplies you need to take all my classes and more! The set can be customized for solo painting or family painting. It contains watercolor paper, brushes, basic paint colors and washi tape! If you want more color choices, you can opt for my Pop Palette or individually sold watercolor Pop pans !

How long are the online classes?

It depends on the class! In general, beginner classes tend to be shorter than more advanced classes because the projects are often simpler. Most of my classes are between 40 minutes and 2 hours long. But since they are pre-recorded, you will be able to take your classes at your pace, and be able to stop and start them again whenever necessary.

Who can take your classes?

My online watercolor classes for beginners are open to anyone.
Kids starting at 7 or 8 years of age are having a great time, as well as grown ups !

The beginner-level classes make a great parent-child activity since they're shorter in duration and projects are kept as simple as possible. Everything is thoughtfully designed for you to be able to complete the projects successfully on your first try! If you are curious about watercolor but have never touched a brush in your life, start with my beginner-level classes! 🙂

My intermediate-level classes are ideal for people who have already taken my beginner-level classes OR people who are already familiar with the basics of watercolor painting. The explanations and techniques are more advanced, so these classes require a little more skill. Intermediate classes are often longer in duration because the subjects are a little more complex. But everyone who started with my beginners classes was able to succeed in my intermediate classes!

All my classes are pre-recorded, so you can watch them at your pace, whenever you want, wherever you want, for LIFE! You’ll learn to create stunning artwork in under 2 hours using the same 3 brushes for most of my classes! I like to keep life simple!

You’ll see: I even change my camera angle as I explain the steps to give you a closer look at my brushstrokes whenever I show you a new technique. I’m in NO hurry for you to master a technique right away. I repeat myself quite a lot to guide you as much as possible!

Each class is guided step-by-step at a comfortable pace. You can easily pause or go back to parts of the lessons and take your time.

My classes are super informal and relaxed. No need to have a postdoc in fine-arts to understand the terms I use, I promise!

Are your classes suitable for young kids?

My beginner-level classes are designed to be accessible for all. For young children, I recommend adult supervision in the form of a parent-child activity. 🙂

For example, I had a lot of families with kids of all ages take my beginner-level classes and they had a ton of fun! But remember, it’s important to adapt our expectations of the outcome according to the child’s age and interest!

I’m not good at drawing, will I be able to paint?

Good question! I totally hear you. Don’t worry! If you feel like painting but have zero interest (or skill) in drawing, rest assured that all you need to be good at is tracing haha! My classes are designed to make watercolor accessible to everyone, which is why I provide a sketch with every class. All you need to do is print it and trace it onto your watercolor paper (I’ll show you how!) No drawing skills required!

Access to online watercolor classes :

How long is my access valid?

You have lifetime access to the watercolor class you purchased.

I can’t find my password to access the watercolor class I purchased!

The links and passwords for each class are provided in the pdf document you received with your class registration, in the section right before the printable sketch.

My password isn’t working!

All passwords have been tested and are functional. Remember that passwords are case sensitive; make sure to respect uppercase and lowercase letters when entering the password and to make sure you haven’t added an extra space at the end of your password by accident. Tip: Simply copy-paste your password instead of typing it yourself, and be sure not to add a space at the end. If it still doesn’t work, write to me and we’ll get it sorted out!

I logged in with my password but I can’t find the video

The video is the huge picture you see at the top of the page when you log in with your password. If you look closely, you’ll see a little "play" button. Just click on it and the video will start playing!

I lost my class document. How can I get it back?

Contact me and I’ll be happy to send it to you again.

Watercolor supplies:

I already have watercolor supplies at home. Can I use my own supplies to follow your classes?

Absolutely! As long as your watercolor is in TUBES or PANS.

My classes are designed to be possible with any brand of watercolor supplies. I encourage everyone to develop their own style by choosing their favorite colors. As long as you know that the result will look a little different depending on the brand of equipment and pigments you use.

What supplies do I need for your classes?

The complete list of supplies is provided in the pdf document you receive when you purchase a class. This list also includes links to purchase the required supplies or alternative options!

Here’s an idea of the supplies you’ll need:

A standard 8½ x 11" sheet of paper to print the sketch
3 round watercolor brushes in sizes 1, 4 and 8
Cold-pressed watercolor paper of at least 140 lb or 300 gsm in 9 x 12” format
Watercolor paint in pans or tubes
Washi tape or painter's tape

You’ll also need a fine-tip water-insoluble (permanent) marker, a lead pencil, an eraser, a container of water, a cotton towel or paper towel, and a mixing palette or an old plate. A hair dryer and/or light pad are optional. More details will be provided in the course document, don't worry!

What type of watercolor do I need for your classes?

The projects have been designed for watercolor paints in tubes or pans. My instructions don't really apply to watercolor pencils. All types of watercolor in tubes or pans should do the trick, but I recommend you opt for quality watercolor paint for a better pigment/binder ratio. The “cheaper” brands are often disappointing because they contain very little pigment and their texture is sometimes…questionable! haha!

I don’t have any supplies. Can I buy what I need from you?

Of course! I’ve made your life simple! My goal was to offer you a fun and easy experience. That’s why I sell starter kits if you’re just getting started with watercolor and don’t have any supplies at home.

My solo painting or family painting sets include all the supplies you need to do a minimum of 30 projects : 30 sheets of watercolor paper, a set of 12 basic colors, a set of 3 paintbrushes and washi tape.

All the items in the starter set were selected for their great value for money.
If you only need one or some of these items, you can buy these items individually in my online shop 😄

You’ll also find my own watercolor palette, the Pop Palette, to complement your basic colors.
The Pop Palette comes in a super handy case containing 12 or 24 of my favorite color blends (in half pans). You may also purchase these pans individually or in a set of 4 pans or more at a special bundle price.

What’s the difference between the colors in the starter kit vs. the small pans vs. the Pop Palette?

The starter set includes a palette of 12 basic Cotman colors by Winsor Newton.
These colors are rich in pigments and super pleasant to work with. The 12 basic colors are lemon yellow, cadmium yellow, ocher yellow, cadmium red, alizarin crimson, ultramarine blue, intense blue, viridian green, sap green, burnt sienna, burnt umber.

These basic colors will make it possible to create many other colors by mixing them together. I created a free class to show you how to make the most of the colors in your starter set. See the Free Color Chart Online Class to learn how to obtain 144 new colors by only mixing the 12 colors of the starter set.

The Pop Palette is a set of 12 or 24 colors in half pans.
These are my own favorite blends and my signature watercolors! Most of the colors will complement the 12 basic colors, but the Pop Palette can easily be your main palette! You’ll love it!

You’ll recognize the colors from my vibrant watercolor art as these are bright and highly saturated. Their quality is comparable to the starter set in terms of the beautiful creamy texture and high pigment content.

The 12 colors in my Pop Palette are: Pink, Orange, Lemon, Sprout Green, Emerald Green, Peppermint, Blue, Purple, Grape, Lilac, Blush and Black. If you opt for the 24 colors you’ll also get : Plum, Cherry Red, Strawberry, Peach, Mango, Sage, Boreal Green, Peacock, Praia, Chocolate and Ginger.

All pans are hand-poured in my workshop and packaged with care.

If you’d like to have an idea of the difference between the colors of the starter set and those in the Pop Palette, you can see photos in this article:

Other questions about watercolor classes :

I’d like to offer a class as a gift. How do I do that?

You have two options! One option is to enter the person's email address so that they receive the course document(s) or you can share the downloads with them directly after your purchase.

The second option is to buy a gift card that is applicable to the entire online shop. This option allows the recipient to choose their own classes and/or supplies!

I am a shop owner and I would like to offer the online classes as a workshop. Is this possible?
